Texas Southern University was chosen among 48 HBCUs in the nation to participate in the 2010 Honda Campus All-Star Challenge in Orlando, FL on April 10-13. It is a college knowledge bowl that consisted of topics such as current events, sports, science and of course black history. The teams from the SWAC were Prairie View A&M, Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Alcorn State, Jackson State, Southern-BR, and Mississippi Valley State. Our rival down 290, Prairie View emerged as champions with Mississippi Valley as runner-up. It was an amazing experience to be among collegiate scholars from the "Great 48".
