Hurricane Sandy disrupts election campaigns, closes stock market

President Obama urged residents on the East Coast Monday to heed evacuation orders in lieu of Hurricane Sandy. The storm is expected to make landfall late tonight into Tuesday. States ranging from South Carolina to Maine have taken precaution by shutting down major roads and places of attraction. The stock market closed on Monday and will re-open possibly on Wednesday.
